Anti-Virus Service
We've noticed that there seems to be a large number of virus infections throughout Virginia, and as such we'd like to point out that among our other services such as hardware repair and troubleshooting, we do offer virus detection, removal, and immunization. In fact, we're very experienced at this, and have a wide variety of tools available to us to detect and remove viruses, and prevent your computer from being re-infected. This service is also part of our preventative maintenance plan.
Indeed, in the case of a virus infection, we recommend you obtain professional service rather than try to fix the problem yourself. We've seen many cases of formatted hard drives and deleted data when such drastic measures were neither necessary nor appropriate although inexperienced "computer consultants" may tell you otherwise).
Often we have detected and removed viruses many of which have been of the destructive variety) which our customers did not even know they had we detected them in the course of a regular service call), or which they had detected and could not remove. You can depend on our 20 years experience!
Virus Tip:
If someone tells you you're going to have to reformat your hard drive, they likely don't know what they're doing. We've very rarely had to reformat a hard drive as the result of a virus.
Note: Although we have had great success in the past, we cannot guarantee the recovery or repair of damaged files, even when the virus is successfully removed, since some viruses cause irrecoverable damage. We are not liable for damaged files.
