Why do we buy computers? To a business person, the answer is to help you run your businesses better, so that you get more customers to spend more money with you. To a home owner, the answer is to be better productive, enhance our lives and for educational purposes. Most clients dread having to drop off their systems at a repair shop, wait for weeks for it to return, only to find the repair shop added hardware they did not need, at a high price. Compu-Wizard believes that our clients time is a valuable asset, and we promise to provide affordable and timely services to you.But it's true that computers do not always support us as well as they could. This gets in the way of doing what we need to for our customers, leading to delays, poor customer satisfaction and lost business. Inadequate computers can really hit profitability and revenue. Most home computers provide the only access to the internet for the family, as well as provides means for family members to complete important tasks such as Emails, homework, research as well as other tasks. But computers should help us, not hinder us: shouldn't they? We believe so. Here at Compu-Wizard, we have over 20 years of experience, helping companies to better support their customers, and home owners to support their families using Information Technology.
We will come to you and perform an initial consultation on all computer related issues. Diagnosis, Repair and upgrades are our most frequently requested services as well as hardware and software installation and training. During the school year, our tutoring and mentoring program is very popular.

Emergency Repair Advice
OK, the worst has happened, and you are faced with the dreaded Windows “blue screen of death”; or the screen is blank. Assuming you are reading this on another PC, these handy tips should help you, to help us, to get you up and running again. Most of these tips are really just common sense, but hopefully they will help.
1. Don’t panic. It is almost certainly not something that you have done. PCs break just like any other machine. In 99% of cases, your data is safe, unless you don’t follow tip 2!
2. Don’t format your hard drive, even if your friends say it’s a good idea. You will certainly lose data, and device drivers, and those programs you’ve lost the CD for, and will get a larger than necessary repair bill.
3. Don’t let your friend/next-door neighbor/cousin, or anyone else, mess with your PC. Though well meaning, they invariably make matters worse (we get a lot of work through friend’s offers of assistance!).
4. Don’t throw your machine out of the window! - however tempting that may be! 99% of our customers have repairable machines. It is almost always cheaper to repair than to buy another one. If we think yours is beyond economical repair, we will let you know, and we can help an insurance claim if your household contents covers your PC (they usually do).
5. If you can, write down everything that happened. Then, collect together all your program and products CDs (such as those that came with scanners and printers - including any license numbers (we won’t install counterfeit software - sorry) with your PC, and then:
6. Call us! We will be with you as soon as possible!.
