With our backup service,  you can protect your important data for less than $25.00 per month.
Compu-Wizard will backup your critical information on a pre-scheduled basis, which is determined between you, the customer and our specialists.  We come onsite, perform the backup and your data is safe.  Since this is pre-scheduled, you do not have to worry about remembering when.... we take care of this responsibility for you!  The initial setup is set on an hourly fee basis, with the scheduled backups set at a predetermined flat rate starting at $25 per visit.  This flat rate is dependant on the amount of data to be backed up, and the time of day to be performed (nightly backups are slightly higher).  Call us today for a free consultation.

Preventative Maintenance:

We are proud to be providing this new service for our clients. It has come to our attention through our experience with our clients computers, and, through our clients themselves that there is a need for computer owners to have an annual computer checkup, and an assessment of everyone's machine.

The basic work should normally be completed in less than 2-3 hours. If additional service to the machine is required we will make recommendations and further work can be scheduled at a time that is convenient for you.

We also provide monthly, quarterly, and bi-yearly maintenance contracts.   Simply schedule ahead of time, and let us do the rest.  There is no need for you to remember, we will be there, ready to work for you!

Complete Services:

	Open the box, vacuum interior and clean fans. If fans are noisy, they can be replaced at an additional cost.
	Run the following programs: Disk Cleanup Scandisk De-frag If owners do not regularly run these programs, an automated or manual scheduled maintenance procedure will be suggested.
	Supply a program distributed by PowerQuest 'partinfo' that records hard drive information that may be used in the event of failure.
	Run Belarc 'advisor' that will record all hardware and software installed on the machine.
	Check that every machine has a current antivirus program installed and is updated. If a virus is found, the time required to repair it will be considered as additional work and a fee will be applied.
	Check virtual memory settings and adjust if required. If the partition sizes must be changed, an additional donation may be requested.
	Check for the installation of a firewall especially for persons with high-speed internet connections.
	Check system tray for unnecessary icons at start-up.
	A rescue disk for machines with Windows 98 will be supplied and for other systems we will create one.
	A high-speed internet connection will be installed if possible to ensure that MS Critical Updates are installed on Windows 98 and ME systems (a network card or USB connection will be temporarily installed).

When we service your machine will provide the details of what was completed on your invoice and note any additional work that is recommended.
